25 Things I Learned in 2015


…in no particular order:
  1. There is a difference between Covenant and Contractual Friends. 
  2. Don’t make excuses. 
  3. Don’t be afraid of missing your home, your family, and your friends. Because it’s normal.
  4. Don’t feel sorry for yourself unnecessarily. It just makes you more miserable. 
  5. Embrace awkwardness. 
  6. Don’t apologize if you don’t need to, and don’t be to prideful to apologize if you really should.
  7. Remember to Laugh. 
  8. don’t be afraid to dress up if you want too!
  9. If you need to cry: cry. 
  10. Never stop pushing yourself out of your comfort zone.
  11. Remember to keep in touch with people. 
  12. It is okay to grieve.
  13. Wear the heels if you want…
  14. …but bring the flats.
  15. Never be to afraid to go on more adventures.
  16. Work Hard and Have Fun!
  17. Embarrassing yourself can be humiliating, but sometimes it’s fun, and will always make for a good story.
  18. Be aware of how you are emotionally, physically, and mentally.
  19. Try not to overthink.
  20. Read your Bible.
  21. Just because you fail does not mean you are a failure. 
  22. Try to keep a journal of your memories.
  23. Remember to take photos.
  24. Remember to call your Mom.
  25.  Always Pray.
